A very big NO for adding steroids to the present road cars. Add new cars.
An american muscle car with a roaring V8, if you please. The only car class we don't have in LFS. Heaven in a straight line but hell in the corners
Would make the drag strip usefull too.
Are you using similar gear ratios in both RL and LFS? Are the HP of the RL car and LFS car similar? Are the torque curves similar? What about weight and distribution? What about the grip of the tyres?
If even one is a "no" your argument doesn't hold water.
IIRC, there were barriers in the old BL track. And you got spectated if you tried to cut. As the track has changed in size the barriers have to be moved. I believe it's on the to-do list for the admins.
As a flagged person how do you tell the one behind you of your intentions?
I use the indicators to indicate where I'm going to go. But I've seen on some videos on youtube and such that some times people indicate to the direction they want the following driver to go or on which side thay are going to leave room.
Is there a correct way or should I just stop using it?
There is no mention of this neither in the CTRA server rules nor in the newbie section of the forums.
Those who do both choose a server according to what you want to do now.
About the speed thing.
Fastest way around any track is a slight four wheel drift. Unfortunately this chews up your tyres very quickly and requires very much consentration so in a race you can't do that.
Could/should/would you make the LRF class Gold and up?
The way it's now means crappy drivers, like me, can just jump in and cause havoc with even more powerfull road cars than the TBO class. Not that I will because I know I can't handle any of the LRF cars.
Now the Gold license is just a fancy name no other gains but a refurbised forum sig.
Still all (too) good for me as I'll propably get even more points as everybody else will be racing the LRF class. I'll be gold in no time. But I will not have gotten any better as a driver
Would like to have kept it that way but Tweaker seems to have added me to his ignore list before I could send him a PM. Real mature

Unfortunately he seems to have switched his PMs off, so I'll answer here:
Thank you for your message. It seems you have some issues but I wont go there. I still think all the whining about incidents is really stupid. You should just keep your cool and report it. That is what the report system is for.
I too found it quite annoying when the silver and up drivers took all the point positions on Race 1. But still I did manage to get the Silver license. Granted it took me over 6 months.
What you have to remember is that the Silver racers might just have gotten the new license and not be comfortable with the faster cars. Or they might have good friends there and want to race with them.
But if you are solely racing for the points you shouldn't stay on Race 1 after you get silver license. Even I've managed to get over half the way to Gold in just about a month! And now we are talking about propably the slowest driver in the whole CTRA! You just get so much more points than on the Race 1.
Doesn't it seem strange to you guys that JeffR is spouting on about the clutch not being realistic but at the same time uses an unrealistic controller setup?
Yes you can drive on the drag strip, but without a car with huge slicks in the back and tiny cartwheels on the front and humongous power it just isn't drag racing.
The oval is a track as any other (a very boring track but nevertheless a track) and we do have the BF1 and FO8 which are kind of close to an indy car (the american oval openwheeler). But there simply isn't anything close to a drag car in LFS.
PS. your VHPA, which is awesome, has trouble loading patch Y sets. Says they are the wrong version. Any updates coming?
